Telephone and video GP consultations

Private telephone and video GP consultations are available for patients in and around the Wokingham area.

Many routine medical consultations can be more conveniently done in this way without the need for face to face contact.

Home visits

A private GP home visit service is available in and around the Wokingham and Reading area. At the current time, home visiting is limited to those patients that need to be assessed in person. Usually, this occurs when assessment by telephone or video is not deemed sufficient or safe to get a working diagnosis.

Prescriptions

Medication can be issued electronically to be picked up at Jats Pharmacy in Finchampstead.

Alternatively, we have the ability to post the actual medication to your home. This will save you queuing at the local pharmacies that has become commonplace during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many people in the Wokingham area commute to London for work. We can arrange delivery of your medication in the London area.

Please note that controlled drugs will not be prescribed.

Medical Tests

A whole range of medical tests can be done by a home visit. Alternatively, many tests can be done by finger prick test and then posted to the laboratory.

Dr Sheikh will then contact you with the results and their interpretation.
